WOW! just finished my first spin class, my instructor definitely pushed everyone to work their hardest. My legs and butt are not liking me, soon that will change though! (hopefully) :)
My best friend and I worked our hardest today, especially since we missed our morning workout for training to run 10k. It definitely makes it easier when you have someone to go to the gym with that way if you aren’t in the mood they will hopefully force you and put you in the mood. Really though once you get the workout done and over with you are left feeling in such a great mood and wonder why you didn’t want to go in the first place.
Hopefully everyone else is staying motivated and sticking to their routine of going to the gym!

Lesson Learned!
Before I came to university, I promised myself that I wouldn’t gain the freshmen 15. I made a plan of working out and eating healthy. Obviously I wasn’t able to stick to my guns, sadly. I saw my fellow floor mates eating these delicious treats from our cafe and vending machines, which made me think “Why can’t I indulge in these yummy treats.” Everything would of been fine, IF I would of only eaten those yummy treats once in awhile rather than everyday or every other day, but those chocolate bars and Oreo cookies where just calling my name. I slowly started to notice that I was gaining a little bit of weight but didn’t think anything of it since I did work out still; however, what I was consuming compared to how much and how hard I was working out didn’t have an impact. I went home for the holidays and wasn’t in the mood to be in jeans that were going to be tight, so I thought why not wear my “fat pants” and struggling to put those on I came to a realization that I have to change my eating habits, because what I am eating isn’t healthy which can have a result in an unhealthy Stephanie.
My Best friend/Roommate have made it our goal to get healthy! Yes we will be shedding away the weight, but we are going to do it the healthy and safe way, this way the weight will stay off leaving us looking fabulous!
